Welcome to the NAEP

The National Alliance of Equine Practitioners was founded in 2008 to create a mutually inclusive group between veterinarian and farrier professions.

The NAEP is managed by a group of highly skilled and educated individuals which include the Executive Director and Board of Directors. 

Mission

The NAEP exists to encourage Equine Practitioners working together for the well-being of the horse through communication and continuing education.

Vision

With the NAEP being the first organization to include farriers in the definition of “equine practitioners”, the NAEP is actively encouraging the relationship between veterinarians and farriers as well as providing multiple educational opportunities to enhance their knowledge, skills and abilities.
