About the National Alliance of Equine Practitioners

Together for the Horse.

Founded in 2008, the National Alliance of Equine Practitioners (NAEP) is the premier interdisciplinary organization dedicated to advancing equine health through exceptional education, collaboration, and professional development.

As the first professional association to intentionally unite veterinarians and farriers under one organization, the NAEP has expanded its reach to include veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, students, horse owners, and other equine professionals who share a commitment to lifelong learning and the well-being of the horse.

Through nationally recognized conferences, regional wet labs, online learning, and continuing education opportunities, the NAEP brings the equine care team together to strengthen communication, build practical skills, and foster meaningful professional relationships that improve outcomes for horses around the world.

Today, the NAEP continues to serve as a trusted leader in interdisciplinary equine education, empowering professionals at every stage of their careers through innovative learning experiences, collaboration, and a shared passion for advancing equine practice.
